To create a distinct and strong graphic identity for the "new" Operakällaren restaurant. Operakällaren was still to hold its classic style, but at the same time find a new more modern style within our time, e.g. modernize a timeless restaurant.
Renewing the Classic Operakällaren identity also included the mission to create an identity for the new bar concept (Verandan) and a solution on how to tie it to the restaurant. The big challenge was to differentiate the bar concept, but at the same time combine it with the restaurant.
We modernized a timeless classic restaurant; Operakällaren, by combining the classic style with the new modern bar concept: Verandan. Keeping both parts together with the classic OK monogram made this possible.
We created everything, from head waiter statue (of the monogram) by the entrance, to all menu's, stationary, wine lists, cocktail menu's, gift certificate, outdoor signs, napkin holders, a case holder for the restaurant.
Operakällaren has since the change to their new identity experienced a new type of guests and increased the number of visits among their regulars.
