Design Director (Hong Kong)
To bring curiosity, inspiration, guts and grounding to the Hong Kong team based upon a clear understanding of the Mastery of Brand Building. Reporting to the Creative Director, you will drive ideas and innovative thinking; with ultimate responsibility for the successful development and completion of all design work on a particular client programme.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Participation in the development of strategy and the brand creation process
- Ensure all expression work remains on brand, and is developed across a variety of applications and touch points, ensuring a quality expression at all times
- Manage the day to day progress of the design work, leading the design development and implementation stages
- Lead the process that will arrive at �the bright idea� upon which the creative direction will be built
- Oversee presentation production
- Set up and run work reviews in the studio
- Develop relationships with the client team
- Brief suppliers, demanding a quality result
- Document design work and all project material
- Ensure that the Creative Director and Programme Manager up to date
Technical skills and personal attributes:
- Possess at least 8 years experience with at least 5 years practical experience working on national or international corporate brand and identity programmes, especially in the area of design development and implementation
- Well balanced, responsible, talented, with a good sense of humour
- Team player - enjoy working with others, developing solutions as a unit
- Hard working and ambitious - want to create excellent work and take ownership of the programme to make sure it happens
- Mentoring capabilities - acting as a mentor within the studio to younger designers and a partner to other senior colleagues
- Ability to substitute for the Creative Director when necessary
- A self starter with the desire to contribute to the company as a whole

Senior Project Manager (Paris)
Responsibilities:
Relationship Builder
Day to day contact with the Design Director and Creative Director at the client organization. Manage the relationship to become 'indispensible' to the client (help and proactively call with new briefs and challenges). Walk the corridors at the client organisation to build new relationships at the company. Strong communication skills with eye towards developing presentation skills. Work to build relationships with suppliers, clients and vendors and coordinate with them on briefs. Attend and observe client presentations and work sessions and act in a professional manner.
Creative Liaison
Act as the conduit for information between the client and the creative team. Work with the client to clarify the brief and all details necessary to complete the project. Understand the creative process and act as the brand guardian (have the consumer point of view). Help the creative team to communicate the design rationale for the client presentation.
Team Player
An active participant in team sessions and sharing work. Ready to challenge and be challenged.
Project Management
Responsible for ensuring that all deliverables are complete for deadline presentation, sets work in progress meetings to ensure that all deliverables are on track. Manages all timelines and finance for projects and client presentations.
Knowledge
Proactive in developing awareness of consumer branding, design and new developments in design world. Proactively thinks about the future and the possibilities for consumer.
Requirements:
Keep everything organised, has software skills including PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of design and production and a desire to learn more. + 4 years experience.
